WHERE CAN I BUY MÖ PRODUCTS?

Our products can be found in well-stocked K-stores throughout the country (K-Citymarket, K-Supermarket, K-Market) and in well stocked S-group stores nationwide. Our products are also seasonally available in all Lidl stores in Finland, which we announce separately on our social media accounts.

ARE OAT cheezes DOMESTIC?

Yes they are. It is absolutely important to us that only the best Finnish oats are used to make all our oat cheezes. Our plant based alternatives to cheese are made in Finland in small batches at our oat dairy in Central Ostrobothnia. Our products have been granted a "Avainlippu" label as a sign of Finnish product.

WHERE IS YOUR PRODUCT MADE?

All our products are made in Central Ostrobothnia in Lohtaja, where the Mö oat dairy is located. We established our operations in an old dairy, utilizing the traditional dairy environment and equipment. This was smart from the point of view of the use of resources, because we did not have to build an entire factory from scratch and we were able to reuse a partially completely empty property.

will "Mö kreikkalainen" name change?
why is the original name not allowed?

We will have to change the brand name of Mö Kreikkalainen in the future. According to the local supervisory authority and the Food Agency, "Kreikkalainen" is not a permitted brand name to describe the product and thus violates feta cheese's name protection. We will inform you about the new name as soon as it becomes relevant, for now we sell the product under the name Mö Kreikkalainen as usual.

ARE THE PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR VEGANS?

Indeed! ALL the ingredients we use are plant-based, i.e. suitable for a vegan diet. All our products have the "100% plant-based - suitable for vegans" label. Mö oat products therefore do not contain milk or lactose, nor animal fats or additives in any form. Mö only produces plant-based foods, so you can always recognize products suitable for vegans from our logo.

IS THERE ANY ADDED SUGAR IN OATS?

Good news for sugar avoiders: Our Kaurajogu's have even less added sugar. The sugar content of the products varies from 4.9 to 9.0 g / 100 g depending on the taste. We believe in genuine ingredients, so we do not use artificial sweeteners in any of our products.

IS your products ORGANIC?

Currently, the raw materials are not organic. The products contain added calcium, so organic labeling would not be possible with the current ingredients. However, we are happy to develop our products just for your needs. So please leave your wishes or product ideas so we can take it into account when developing new products. The easiest way is to leave your wishes through our contact form here  https: //www.mö.fi/otayhteytta

is mö products GLUTEN FREE AND SUITABLE for people with
coeliac disease?

Oats themselves are gluten-free and we use it as the only grain in our products. However, the mill also handles other grains and due to the risk of contamination, we cannot recommend our products to people with coeliac disease.

Do you invest in responsible production?

Our mission is to protect the environment and the common future through sustainable food production. Our goal is not only the carbon compensation of our operations, but taking biodiversity into account at a strategic level. This means that we strive to find positive effects and minimize environmental harm in many different areas. In this case, attention is focused especially on our production chain and its development. Side streams from our production do not accumulate at all and we recycle all surplus/packaging waste appropriately.

Does Espresso House have Mö Greek in its servings?

Yes there is! You can find Mö Greek in three Espresso House dishes: Hummus & Quinoa Bowl, Avocado Baguette and Mediterranean Salad. You can find these portions in all Espresso House cafes in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

HOW MUCH PROTEIN does Kaurarahkus contain?

One whole serving of Mö Kaurarahku contains 10 g of protein. The snack itself is high in protein, and the product's granola also contains protein. All protein is completely plant-based, consisting of oats, peas and broad beans.

WHY can't you say cheese?

This strange fact has also worried us from the beginning. Our oat cheezes does resemble cheese, and are prepared according to dairy techniques. However, according to food legislation, plant-based milk substitutes may not be named in the same way as milk products, and therefore we cannot use the names "oat cheese", "fresh cheese" or "feta cheese" for our products either. This does not matter, however, because our dairy-free cheese alternatives are exclusively and simply named under our own Mö brand names.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE PRODUCTS?

The biggest enjoyers use our products as they are. Kitchen gurus, on the other hand, also conjure up new tastes in cooking and baking. The style is free! However, if you need recipe tips, you can find them on our Instagram account!
